Compatible product surfaces
Where UV DTF sticks well, and where it struggles.
Usually works well
- Stainless steel and powder-coated tumblers and bottles.
- Glass and ceramic (mugs, jars, candle holders).
- Hard plastics, acrylic and many phone cases.
- Sealed wood, laminated card and coated metal.
Use with caution or ask us first
- Heavily textured or rough surfaces — the transfer can't bond fully.
- Silicone and some soft or oily plastics (PP, PE) — adhesion may be weak.
- Very tight curves or corners — the film can lift.
- Items that go in the dishwasher, microwave or get scrubbed often.
- Fabric — use DTF instead.
Food and drink safety
Keep the design away from the drinking rim and any surface that touches food or the mouth. UV DTF is decorative and should be applied to the outside of items only.
