Selecting transfer dimensions

Measure first

1. 1Measure the flat or straight section of the item, not the full height.
2. 2On tapered tumblers, measure the narrowest part of the area you'll use.
3. 3Leave a margin of at least 5 mm from rims, handles and edges.

Common sizes

• Standard mug: about 8 × 8 cm per side.
• 20 oz tumbler: about 7–8 cm wide for a logo, or a wrap up to about 22 cm wide.
• Water bottle: about 6–7 cm wide.
• Phone case: about 5–8 cm wide.
• Small jar or candle: about 5–6 cm.

Wraps on curved items

Full wraps work best on straight-sided items. On tapered shapes the transfer may need a curved layout — tell us the item's top and bottom diameter and we'll check it.
